to the McLean Drama Company
10 minute play contest winners!

The first prize is awarded to "Open Communication" by Katie and Alex Lewis of McLean, Virginia. It will be staged at the Alden Theatre following the 2pm Sunday matinee performance of “Thousands of Years -- Rome” on June 29th. "Irish-American Misunderstanding" wins second place and "You Can Bank On It" is the third place winner. Both plays are the work of L. Robert Griffin of Arlington, Virginia.

We want to thank all of the 10 minute play entrants for their submissions. The McLean Drama Company is fortunate to have the work of so many accomplished local playwrights work to consider. The submission process was totally blind - the judges did not see the names of the playwrights until after the winners were chosen.
